THE BAND

Loose Lips is a high energy Rock-and-Roll, blues-and-soul, funk, spunk, and all-that-junk machine. Found most frequently in Nashville, TN’s historic Printer’s Alley, the band has performed a weekly residency at Bourbon St. Blues and Boogie since 2020. The band is made up of five core members with decade long friendships forged in Music City that tend just pour right off the stage. Despite being based mostly in Middle, TN, the band makes its way around the country playing festivals like the annual Bike Week in Daytona, FL and a slew of private engagements.

BENNY CARl

Benny Carl, the high-flying harmonica player and rockin’ front man with an endless wellspring of energy from Minneapolis, MN who founded rock behemoth’s Cocaine, The Poor Boys, and The Tip.  Benny also performs with John Stone and The Trailer Park All-Stars on Friday and Saturday days at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk down on Broadway.

Myles Baker, Illinois-born co-lead singer and guitarist who brings out the soulful side of things. The tallest member of Nashville’s tallest band, he met Benny flipping burgers at the classic honky tonk, Robert’s Western World, and the two have been partners-in-crime ever since. You can also find Myles playing acoustic sets at venues around town and often through the week at Friends in Low Places with bassist, Robbie Crede.

Ryan Cain AKA “Moonshine Slim” AKA “Sugar Cain,” the guitar slinger from Kentucky with a penchant for all three Kings (BB, Freddie, and Albert that is), Ryan is masterful on his instrument with impeccable phrasing and the type of vibrato you can hang your hat on.  A jack-of-all-trades, Ryan can sometimes be found playing bass and/or guitar around Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky with long-time pal, John McDaniels.

His name is Robbie Crede “and he is funky,” hailing from Tampa Bay, FL, The Funky Barnacle Himself has played in countless bands from the machine-gun metal of Denman and its auxiliary Metallica tribute, “Fade to Blackened,” to his old roots-country outfits out of Columbus, OH.  Currently, Robbie also plays an acoustic duo with Myles at Friends in Low Places and elsewhere in Nashville.

Providing the most solid foundation of any rock outfit in Nashville, Todd Jewell, the Jewel on the Stool, the Man with the Beat in his Feet, the Beat on the Street, Todd Jewell found his way to Nashville from Scottsdale, AZ by way of guitar slinger, JD Simo, and has also been behind the kit for an incredibly diverse lineup of bands. At the moment, you can find Todd on Sundays at Layla’s on Broadway with the inimitable David Graham and Joe Fick.
